This year, the AFC Ann Arbor Foundation hit an exciting milestone: 15 female coaches completed our Coaching Diversity Initiative and joined the local soccer community.

Through mentorship, training, and networking opportunities, our program empowers women who have faced barriers to pursuing coaching roles. By fostering diversity on the sidelines, we’re enriching the soccer experience for everyone.

One of our participants, Sarah T., shared her journey:
“As a mom and former player, I always wanted to coach, but I didn’t know where to start. This program gave me the tools and confidence I needed to take that step. Now I’m coaching my daughter’s team, and it’s been amazing!”
